In 2010, the Charity opened SIAL.school, the first bilingual English-Italian school in the UK, which welcomes children from all nationalities and backgrounds.
The school teaches a completely bilingual and bicurricular programme, which enables children to move freely into either the Italian or the British school system at any time during their academic career.
The school provides a public benefit by offering a number of free places and a rich curriculum which promotes multiculturalism, aims to reduce and remove inequalities and barriers and encourages the recognition and respect of all differences.
Although it is a fee-paying school, SIAL.school is also accessible to children from families with limited means, with a high percentage of children funded by bursaries.
