The book
Marco can never choose between a cone or a cup, he never has the right answer at the right time, and he has always left everything halfway. Studies, dreams, relationships. The only constant presence in his life is Maria, with whom he became engaged in his final year of high school. She works as a secretary at a law firm, while he works as a video operator for Iacopo, an eccentric producer of pornographic films. However, she doesn’t know this, because Marco believes that lying is equivalent to protecting.
In just a few years, Marco will become a partner at Capriccio Production, one of the most promising Italian porn production companies founded by Iacopo. The game will hold up as long as the porn industry market doesn’t change.
Bankrupt and abandoned by Maria, who has discovered the truth, Marco wonders if the compromises he has made have really had any meaning. All he wants is to try to save that future in which, after all, neither he nor Maria seem to have stopped believing.
